Grizzly Chéri: How has becoming a mother helped you grow personally?

Marine: Since becoming a mom, I feel stronger. I could move mountains for my daughter, and that feeling extends to my general life. I've also learned to put things into perspective; my priorities have changed, and thanks to all this, I am much more fulfilled today!

G.C.: A pregnancy anecdote?

Marine: Mila was very active in my belly. My partner and I loved feeling her little kicks! We even took a haptonomy class to learn to communicate with her in utero; it was magical...

G.C.: What's the coolest thing about being Mila's mom?

Marine: The pride! I'm so proud to be her mom!

G.C.: What do you like to do together?

Marine: Dance and sing. There's always music at home. We dance however we want and sing at the top of our lungs without holding back! (Poor neighbors...!)

G.C.: What life lessons do you want to pass on to Mila?

Marine: Love, respect, curiosity, and for her to keep her joy for life. It's essential to be happy :)!

G.C.: What does a typical day look like for you?

Marine: It's very, very slow at our house... When we stay home, we do crafts like play-doh or stickers. We eat our meals together, and after nap time, we read many stories and listen to music. We love to linger as a family!!

G.C.: What is your favorite moment of the day with Mila?

Marine: Wake-up time. For a few months now, Mila has had a "big girl" bed. Now, when she wakes up, she gets out of bed and comes to see us! When I feel her little hand on my cheek and hear her ask me, "Did you sleep well, Mommy?" Even though lie-ins are a distant memory, I'm overjoyed every morning!

G.C.: What do you love about your partner who became a dad?

Marine: He's a perfect dad! He's completely smitten with his daughter and 100% involved. I couldn't have asked for better!

G.C.: Do you have a family ritual or habits?

Marine: On Saturday mornings, we go to the market. It's a great time where we choose the upcoming meals together. Following that, Mila enjoys helping us when we cook... Especially with chocolate cakes!!!

G.C.: Do you recognize anything of yourself or your partner in Mila?

Marine: She's funny like her dad and stylish like me! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!

G.C.: How do you take time/care for yourself?

Marine: I've gone back to exercising. 3 times a week, I do exercises in my living room. It allows me to clear my mind, and I feel much better afterward. During my pregnancy, I did meditation exercises, which was very beneficial. The hardest part is finding the time, but nothing is impossible!

G.C.: Can you tell us a bit about the decor of Mila's room?

Marine: It's my favorite room. When she was born, I chose soft, pastel colors and light wood. She has a house bed that also serves as her reading corner. She has a bookshelf overflowing with books and several baskets of toys and stuffed animals. Everything is at her height, so she's independent when she looks for an activity.

G.C.: What's the best advice you can give about motherhood?

Marine: Time passes way too fast when you become a parent! You have to try to stretch time and savor every moment. This means, for example, stopping at every doorway during walks to jump a small step, or picking up every pebble you come across, or watching a plane in the sky until it disappears... These moments are so precious, you mustn't miss a single one ♡

G.C.: When does your little heart completely melt?

Marine: When she suddenly looks at me and says, "Oh mommy, I love you very, very much" while hugging me in her little arms... My heart instantly melts, and I shed a tear of emotion every time! So much love ♡

G.C.: What are your wishes for your professional and family future?

Marine: I have completely rethought my professional life since the birth of my daughter. I am currently in a career change, and my wish is to succeed in managing both. I am very admiring of working moms; they inspire me.

For family: happiness and good health, that's all that matters to me!

G.C.: Your 3 favorite Grizzly Chéri pieces of jewelry?

Marine: I love the "mascara" earrings that I wear every day, and I'm a fan of the shooting star gold necklace, which is so delicate. And the cutest is, of course, the inseparable golden bunnies duo for us to match with my daughter ♡
